The Module Expert will be an integral member of the SAP Solution Team and will work very close together with the other Module Expert SD/PS. Because of the fact that we have a lot SAP users in the Sales and Distribution Module, we want two team members to cover this area. They will be each others backup. The SAP Project System module is for CRH a new functionality. Every knowledge of PS brings us extra value.

Content

The individual will:

• Configure SAP SD and PS in close collaboration with the Business Process Owners, owners of the SAP template. And together with project consultants and other Module Experts.
• Be the second line support for Key Users for all SAP SD/PS related issues.
• Represent the SAP Solution Team within new SAP implementations and other projects.
• Take initiative for improvement of current functionality.
• Organize “after care” sessions.
• Be responsible for documentation, testing, training and standardization.
• Make functional specs for ABAP-developments related to the relevant SAP module
• Be the contact for our development team when own programming is needed.
• Be the backup for colleague team members.
• Follow up new available functionalities within SAP and ICT in general.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in a sales environment. On ICT and/or business site.
• Should have IT knowledge and strong interest in IT, showing a willingness to develop in this area.
• Previous experience with SAP is required. ABAP knowledge is an advantage
• It is important to take initiatives, to communicate clear and to work together with team members and business representatives.

Location and Travel

You will be based in Oosterhout (Netherlands) or (near) Heusden-Zolder (Belgium). From time to time you will be required to travel to European company locations for implementations, transfers and on-site training and support.

Languages

English and French is required. Dutch and/or German would be a definite advantage.
